Buyers new to sourcing medical cannabis from Thailand ask us the same handful of questions. We answer them here in plain terms, no sales pitch. If yours is not on the list, ask us directly. We would rather give you a straight answer than a brochure.
These are the questions that come up in almost every first call, from importers, wholesalers, pharmaceutical distributors and authorized distributors. The answers below reflect how we actually run Idol Farm, not how we wish it looked.
Are you certified, and what does that mean for me?
Yes. We are GACP certified and we work with an EU GMP partner network. That matters because your regulator does not take our word for quality. They take the paperwork. GACP covers how we grow, handle and document the plant. The GMP side covers the processing steps that many regulated markets require before flower can be sold.
In practice, this means the flower you buy arrives with a documented chain behind it. When your authority asks how it was grown, tested and handled, you have answers on file, not promises.
How do I know the quality is real?
Every batch ships with a COA from an independent lab. It covers cannabinoids, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals and microbials. We do not run our own numbers and ask you to trust them. A third party does the testing.
The flower itself is exotic, grown to 22 to 30 percent THC. It is hand trimmed, slow cured, and the water activity is standardized batch to batch. That last point is the one buyers underrate. Consistent water activity is what keeps flower stable in transit and on the shelf, and it is what stops a good batch from failing microbial limits after a long shipment.
A COA is not marketing. It is the one document that lets your regulator, your pharmacist and your customer all trust the same batch.
Can you supply the volume I need, and keep supplying it?
We produce around 500 kg of finished flower per month, which is 7 tons or more per year, with room to scale. This is steady supply from a fully integrated sealed indoor farm, not a one off harvest we are trying to move.
That distinction matters for a B2B buyer. If you build a product line or a pharmacy program around a supplier, you need that supplier to still be there in month six and month twelve. We plan production so we can hold a standing volume for you rather than selling the same kilos to whoever calls first.
How does a first order actually work?
Most buyers move through three steps. It is a deliberately low risk path, because we would rather earn a long relationship than push a big first order.
- Start with a sample so your team can assess the flower and run its own testing.
- Place a trial order to prove the logistics and the import path end to end.
- Scale to a standing volume once the first shipment has cleared cleanly.
We help line up the documents your market needs at each step. Every market has its own list, and a shipment that stalls at customs costs you more than a slow start ever would. We would rather get the first one right.
What about traceability, packaging and private label?
We run full seed to shipment traceability. Every batch traces back to how it was grown and forward to where it went. If you or your regulator ever need to follow a specific lot, the record is there.
Packaging is export ready, built for the compliance and labeling rules of regulated markets rather than retrofitted after the fact. White label and OEM are available, so you can put finished flower under your own brand without standing up a grow operation of your own.
A note on claims
We keep our claims general and defensible on purpose. We will tell you our certifications, our testing and our volume. We will not invent a spec to win a deal, because the first failed COA would end the relationship anyway. Straight answers cost us nothing and save you a great deal.
Still have a question?
If it is not answered here, ask us directly. Tell us your market, your target volume and the documents your authority requires. We will tell you plainly whether we are a fit and what the first step looks like. A straight answer is the start of a good deal, and that is where every one of our long term buyers began.
